as told by his mom, Candace.
Jaxson is a two-time Medulloblastoma (brain tumour) survivor. He was diagnosed August 2, 2010, just 21 months old, and relapsed eight months after the end of his first treatment.
Along with the tumours, he suffered brain stem injury and meningitis in his cerebral fluid. It has left him requiring a tracheostomy tube and dependent on a ventilator to breathe, with no mobility or voice. But it hasn’t stopped him from having fun being a kid or from earning his nickname, Action Jaxson!
Jaxson loves fire trucks and music. The favourite saying in our house is “has vent, will travel” and we live up to that saying! Jax lives life to the fullest. This summer alone, he enjoyed two rock concerts, fishing, hanging out with his big brother and a couple of therapy dogs, and a professional photo shoot with the London Fire Department!
Jaxson is now three years cancer free!
