Throughout the year, numerous amazing community members devote their time, energy and talent to organizing a wide variety of third party events. Childcan also organizes a few of our own “signature” events during the year, a time to gather with our community in support of our families and children.

The Needham School of Dance is organizing "Dancing in the Rayne", a charity dance performance in honour of one of their students, Rayne. Funds raised through the performance will support Childcan! Justin Jewell Homecoming and Fundraiser Concert. An afternoon and evening of entertainment featuring the host Justin Jewell, Christie Palazzolo, After Midnight and MORE. Riding the Cannonball 5,000 in Support of Childcan! Thomas and Eileen are going on a little road trip - a 5,000 mile road trip from Barrie, ON to Golden, BC - and they've got ten days to do it. The memory of Ronny “Tuukka” Betterley will live on this summer at the Tuukka Cup 3-on-3 Road Hockey Tournament. The event honours 7-year-old Ronny “Tuukka” Betterley who passed away in January after a battle with DIPG. The tournament, which will feature youth athletes from Novice to Midget age groups, will benefit three charities, with all proceeds being donated to Childcan, Ronald McDonald House, and Children’s Wish Foundation.
